Microsoft introduces Velocity, a distributed cache

Announced on the MSN data blog, Velocity, a distributed caching technology.
Such technologies exist since quite a long time in the Java world, it now has its counterpart in .Net.
That is a project to follow, here for instance.
We have several servers hosted at Server Intellect and they helped us implement Velocity on our servers. Looks very promising for the moment. We can’t wait for the full release.
